Please take time to check out these cold weather safety tips as the possibility of wintery weather approaches. In case of extended power outages and you are on an oxygen machine or other medical device contact us through the emergency communications center at 580-581-3272 (non-emergency number) let them know its Geronimo and your address. Please stay home if possible, in the event the weather does get bad.

As the new year approaches we want to remind everyone that conditions are extremely dry and urge all to use caution when using fireworks to ring in the new year. We want everyone to have fun but be responsible and prepared in case of an accidental fire. Have a bucket of water ready and a shovel just in case. The city only allows fireworks to be used from midnight to 12:15 am on the 1st of January.
