Do you want participate in a type of Citizen Science? Need something fun to do this weekend?

1) Count in the Great Southeast Pollinator Census today and tomorrow! 🐝
2) Pick a plant and count how many insects land on that plant for 15 minutes!
3) Then, share the results on GSePC.org

These counts help scientists keep tract of any many pollinators there are in your local area.

Quitman County Extension (Georgetown, GA) is hiring a part-time Administrative Assistant!
-16 hours weekly at $15.63 per hour
Job Duties Include:
-High School diploma or equivalent required
-Office and communication skills a must
-Proficient in typing, filing and computer skills such as Windows, Microsoft office.
-Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus for fiscal reporting & records.
-Assist clientele with access to Extension resources and services
-Assist with creating flyers and promoting programs / workshops offered in county
-Maintain the County website, office inventory of publications, office supplies & materials
-Assist with regularly staff conferences and attend District meetings
-Maintain the office filing system in accordance with UGA guidelines
-Coordinate office tasks with other county staff as necessary
-Other duties assigned by County Extension Coordinator
