Along the Alabama and Georgia line, the Chattahoochee River widens into a vast and beautiful lake that anglers the world over have come to know and love. Lake Eufaula, also called Walter F. George Lake, has long carried the proud title of the Bass Capital of the World.

Stretching for miles with countless coves, creeks, and cypress-lined banks, the lake is a paradise for fishermen chasing trophy largemouth bass. Folks travel from far and wide to try their luck in these famously rich waters, and the fishing tournaments here are legendary.

Beyond the fishing, the lake is simply a lovely place to be, with its wide open water, abundant wildlife, and glorious sunsets. The nearby town of Eufaula, with its grand historic homes, only adds to the charm.

Lake Eufaula is a shining jewel of southeast Alabama, treasured by all who visit. It is a place where the fish bite, the water sparkles, and the sunsets take your breath away.

We are SO excited to officially announce that The Donut King is moving to . . . 1342 South Eufaula Ave.
— what us long time local Eufaula people call the “old Taco Bell” building! ❤️🍩

We are incredibly grateful for all of the positive comments, encouragement, and excitement you have shared with us about this move. It truly means more to us than you know!

We are working hard to make this building better suited for The Donut King and, most importantly, our customers. There is still work to be done, and we are working as fast as we possibly can to get everything ready. We ask that you please be patient with us during this process. We promise we are doing everything we can to make this transition as smooth as possible!

And there are some BIG benefits coming with this move! 🎉

🚗 Much better parking
🚻 Public restrooms
🪑 Indoor dining and seating
❄️ Air conditioning!
🏠 A newer, better-quality building
❤️ More room and a more comfortable experience for everyone

We also want to give everyone a heads-up that we will have to close for a few days when it is time to make the actual move. We will need time to move our equipment and get everything set up properly, as well as have the new location inspected and approved by the Health Department before we can open our doors. We will keep you updated on everything as it happens.

We know even a few days without your donuts feels like a long time! 😂🍩 But we promise we will work as quickly as we possibly can and will get back up and running as soon as we are able to.

Change is hard, and getting a building ready for a new purpose takes time, but we truly believe this will be a wonderful new chapter for The Donut King.

Thank you for sticking with us, supporting us, and being patient while we work through all of the details. We are doing this for YOU — our customers and our community. ❤️

We can’t wait to welcome you into our new home at 1342 South Eufaula Avenue! 🍩☕️
