We are a group of ordinary people that serve an extraordinary God! We are associated with the American Baptist Association (http://abaptist.org/).

We believe that the Bible is God’s inspired word and is God’s way of revealing Himself to people. We use it for doctrine and instruction in righteousness so that we as His people can be equipped for all good works. We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. We also believe that it is the mission of the church to spread the message of salvation and teach people to follow Jesus in their daily lives.

Kathy’s Class on Wednesday night- Tonight we learned how we can go into all the world and preach the gospel; we learned what the gospel is and why God sent Jesus to earth; we learned that we are made for a purpose and about 4 people in the Bible that God used who were chosen and prepared from a young age; we learned that just like our body has all kinds of parts for all kinds of functions, so does the church. Each part is very important and we all work together to spread the gospel.

Bro. Chris, Jennifer, Decker and Sadler are all traveling up north to visit with his mother. Please pray for traveling graces, for all of the medical staff treating his mother and most importantly for her healing. We love each and every one of you and we appreciate all of your prayers.

Matthew gave the opening devotion. We are so thankful to Ms. Linda for helping us learn every week.

We learned from Matthew 7:7 about how 3 to 6 year olds can ask God by praying; seek God by having someone read the Bible to us and how to knock by having faith in the work of Jesus on the cross. We talked about the account of Jesus calming the see to learn how the disciples carried out this verse. We played hide an "seek" using numbered ships and getting prizes; we floated little boats in a tub of water; colored a picture with a boat, waves, Jesus and disciples. We played a cool weather matching game and learned a new song
