In Loving Memory of Sergeant Ben McQuagge
Former Gautier Police Department Officer
November 26, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of former Gautier Police Officer Sergeant Ben McQuagge, who passed away on November 26, 2025.

Sergeant McQuagge proudly served the City of Gautier with honor, dedication, and integrity. During his time with the department, he was known not only for his professionalism but for the care and respect he showed to his fellow officers and the community he served. He was the kind of officer you could depend on in any situation and the kind of person who made others better just by being around him.

His impact on the Gautier Police Department and on this community will not be forgotten. The legacy he leaves behind is one of service, loyalty, and commitment to protecting others.

We ask that you keep his family, friends, and former colleagues in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Rest easy, Sergeant.
Thank you for your service.
You will always be remembered.
