Day two of the Texas Farm Bureau National Affairs Awards trip in Washington D.C. 🇺🇸

Coryell County Farm Bureau members Cody and Erika Archie spent the day on Capitol Hill meeting with elected officials and hearing from agricultural and congressional leaders on issues impacting Texas agriculture and rural communities.

Attendees heard from U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins on topics like trade, water infrastructure, New World Screwworm, and the reminder that food security is national security.

The trip serves as an opportunity for Farm Bureau members from across Texas to advocate for agriculture and help ensure rural voices are represented in conversations taking place in our nation’s capital.
