Righteous Roots We help support individuals suffering from abuse-related and life-controlling issues through resources, support groups and classes.

You can be set free by the healing power of Jesus Christ! Serving Coryell and Contingent Counties. Righteous Roots is a faith-based non-profit social service agency. We are dedicated to strengthening and empowering individuals, families, and communities by providing accessible resources, education, and advocacy at no cost. We provide non-residential client services for victims of domestic violence and assault, as well as serve individuals suffering from past or present trauma-related abuse.

Spurs & Sparkles is more than a night of dinner, music, and fun — it’s one of the ways our community comes together to make sure help is there when someone needs it most. 🤍

Funds raised through this event help Mission Righteous Roots continue providing free services and support to victims of abuse and individuals and families facing crisis throughout our community.

Every ticket purchased helps us continue the work happening every day — providing resources, support, education, advocacy, and a safe place for people who are working toward a better future.

When you give to Mission Righteous Roots, you’re helping us continue providing free services, resources, education, support, and hope to individuals and families right here in our community.

Your donations help cover the real costs behind what we do — from providing essential resources to those in crisis, to offering classes and support programs, hosting community outreach events, and ensuring that someone who walks through our doors looking for help is never turned away because they can’t afford it.

And giving doesn’t have to mean writing a huge check.
Every donation matters. Every event sponsorship matters. Every person who volunteers their time matters. ❤️

It's time for Mission Righteous Roots' annual fundraising event, Spurs & Sparkles! ✨🤠

Join us on September 26, 2026, at the Gatesville Civic Center to learn how you can support victims of abuse in our community. You and your guests will enjoy dinner and a concert featuring special guest Justin Todd Herod.

Justin is a multi-award-winning singer, songwriter, and musician from East Texas. Over the past 30 years, he has toured full-time across the United States and has written and produced 12 Christian country, blues, and country albums.

Mission Righteous Roots is a faith-based crisis resource center dedicated to identifying and removing barriers so that abuse victims and those dealing with trauma can obtain the help they need. Our trauma-informed services are provided completely free of charge to residents of Coryell, Bell, Bosque, Hamilton, Lampasas, and McLennan counties.

By attending or sponsoring this event, you are helping Mission Righteous Roots provide life-changing support to men, women, children, friends, neighbors, and family members who live right here in our communities—because abuse does not discriminate.
