We're collecting deodorant and body wash to support women preparing for reentry into our communities through July 30th.

Goal: 1,700 deodorants and 1,700 body washes.

Thank you to the businesses, churches, organizations, and community members who have stepped forward to help make this effort possible.

Aversboro school is one of several in our community that has received direct support from our Food Drive, Clothing Drive, and Toy Drive over the past year. They reached out to express their gratitude, and it means the world to all of us at Shiny Stars Inc.

Thank you IJ, for considering shiny stars a close knit group. We love you, our schools, the work that needs to be done to lift our schools and our community up!

To every Hope Builder and community leader, resident, and 'giver' here in Garner, you are the reason this mission lives and breathes. You show up, you give, and you make a real difference in the lives of families right here in our town.

Thank you for caring about our schools. Thank you for looking out for one another. And thank you for believing, as I do, that when we pour into our community, our community shines brighter.

🏐✨ Shiny Stars Volleyball Tournament — A Day to Remember! ✨🏐

What an absolutely electrifying day of volleyball yesterday! We came home exhausted but overflowing with love for this incredible community. 🙌

By the numbers:
📅 All-day event | ⏰ 7 AM sharp start
🏐 19 competing teams
👥 150+ attendees — players, families, friends, dignitaries, and even curious park-goers who wandered over and stayed to cheer!

🏆 Beautiful trophies that had every player dreaming of taking one home!

A massive kudos to Vamshi Pulusu - the energy, and the driving force from planning all the way through ex*****on! 🫡

This tournament ran seamlessly thanks to two incredible volunteer crews who showed up at 6:30 AM and didn't stop until cleanup wrapped around 9 PM.

Heartfelt thanks to our committee leaders: Chandra, Sudheer, Ram, Sundeep, Bhannu, Rajesh, Naga, and Vamshi, who kept check-in, food & beverages, court management, timekeeping, refereeing, and the wellness area running like clockwork all day long.

We were also honored to welcome Councilman Elmo E. Vance, who joined us and stayed for several games. We loved sharing our vision of bringing a dedicated sports ground to the Town of Garner — thank you for listening and for your presence!
