New York Holstein Association The New York Holstein Association was established in 1920 to promote the Holstein breed.

The purpose of the association is to provide a base from which programs of education, promotion, public relations and information can be made to our members, to maintain general dairy industry acceptance of the Holstein breed through participation in breed improvement programs, to encourage effective merchandising and advertising techniques to promote the breed, to support effective efforts for e

radication of contagious bovine diseases, and to encourage clubs to support local milk marketing agencies national programs that have effective dairy marketing and research programs.
