The New Jersey History Conference is an annual program that highlights the importance of studying and sharing state and local history by inviting established and emerging scholars, educators, public historians, and a broad spectrum of social science and humanities researchers to present new research that facilitates greater public awareness of New Jersey history. This year's conference is co-hosted by the New Jersey Historical Commission and RevolutionNJ, New Jersey's official 250th commemoration partnership.

The Camden County Cultural & Heritage Commission, founded in 1972, recognizes the role of the arts and local history in making our communities dynamic places to live and work. The Commission was established by the Board of Chosen Commissioners to act as the designated agency in Camden County to receive and administer the New Jersey State Council on the Arts Local Arts Program and the New Jersey Historical Commission County History Partnership Program. These grants programs provide funding for small and emerging non-profit organizations through the Commission’s re-grant program.

SJCA & Existential Innovation LLC are proud to announce their recent collaboration to support up to (4) emerging artists that are SJCA members from Cumberland, Salem, and Gloucester counties to table for a reduced fee of $30 at the Black Market on November 14, 2026 in West Deptford, NJ.

The Black Market is a curated regional marketplace designed to connect established businesses, entrepreneurs, makers, artists, and specialty vendors with holiday shoppers from South Jersey, Philadelphia, and surrounding communities.

Each table may be shared by multiple artists, provided all participants remain within the assigned table footprint and any additional setup needs such as racks, easels, electricity, or freestanding displays are communicated in advance and approved where necessary.

The participating artists will still be reviewed for overall event fit and will need to follow Black Market and RiverWinds event requirements, but the goal is to make the opportunity accessible while giving emerging artists meaningful exposure to shoppers and the broader marketplace.

The Ann B. Zekauskas Family Foundation invests in focused on hunger relief and careers in the arts across three areas. Nutrition education grants support schools and community groups helping people make healthy food choices. Food access grants support food banks, kitchens, and hunger relief organizations. Culinary arts grants support high schools, colleges, professional education programs, and scholarships for the next generation of culinary professionals.
