SJCA is excited to announce that Executive Director, Julie Hain will be a panelist during this weeks Business of Being an Artist: Networking with NJ Service Orgs and Local Arts Councils.

Description of the session: Join the New Jersey State Council on the Arts for this interactive networking event on Thursday, June 18th from 2:30 – 4:30 PM. Participants will hear from panelists at county arts agencies, folklife centers, service organizations, and more to hear how local and regional organizations provide meaningful support for artists. Breakout sessions will include an interactive discussion with the panelists on artist needs and supports that would help benefit and sustain artistic practice in our state.

This grant addresses the financial and institutional challenges that threaten the stability of nonprofit arts organizations, helping them build greater operational capacity to manage and advance their work.
