📍We are excited to announce The City and The World Athens Symposium, scheduled to take place in September in Athens, Greece. The symposium will take place from Thursday, September 17, through Saturday, September 19, 2026, bringing together award-winning architects and distinguished professionals from the international architecture and design community.

🎯Join us on Friday September 18, at the European Centre-Contemporary Space Athens exhibitions reception in Athens to take part in the combined expositions that exhibit the best examples of international architecture and design. The duration of exhibitions will be from September 18 to October 18 with free entrance for the public.

🎯On the same evening, a celebration and recognition will take place at the Divani Palace Acropolis in the form of a conference as we honour visionary architects from around the world.

🏆The Awards Ceremony will feature a showcase of award-winning projects that exemplify innovation and excellence in architectural design. After the ending of the awarding, a Gala/Dinner will take place to honour the winners and the prize laureates. (Reservation only, no entrance to the public)

2025 International Architecture Awards -🏅 Honorable Mention
Beijing Yongding Park Open Air Art Museum | Beijing, China, 2024 🌳✨

An ecological park becomes an art park—where the whole green space is an exhibition without boundaries. Kong Xiangwei Design Studio created an open-air art space using steel as lines drawn across the landscape, in the spirit of Chinese calligraphy: each stroke is final, each mark part of a living image.

Together they form a looped art space—an open-air museum and outdoor theater for concerts, plays, and dance. Inspired by Dunhuang frescoes, “Flying” expresses freedom and elegance in light, delicate structures.

🏆 2025 INTERNATIONAL ARCHITECTURE AWARDS WINNER🏆
FORT X w Toruniu | Toruń, Kuyavian-Pomeranian, Poland | 2023

Fort X, Toruń — a 19th‑century Vistula fortress reborn. Built 1889–1892, Fort X is part of one of Europe’s largest fortification complexes, now carefully restored to revive its historic form while hosting a hotel, conference and event spaces.

New volumes are hidden in the landscape, preserving views from the fort’s heart. Green roofs, rainwater harvesting, on‑site sewage treatment and photovoltaics create a low‑impact, closed‑circuit design that respects nature and community. An important step toward giving these monumental structures a second life.

Zhuhai Jinwan Civic Arts Centre | Zhuhai, China | 2023

Discover Zhuhai Jinwan Civic Art Centre: a new hub of contemporary creativity in Jinwan’s Western Ecological New Town. Home to a 1,200-seat Grand Theatre, a 500-seat Multifunctional Hall, a Science Centre and an Art Museum, the centre is united beneath a sweeping latticed roof inspired by migrating birds.

Light-filled plazas, rooftop piazzas, interconnecting bridges and a vibrant outdoor amphitheatre create lively civic spaces day and night. Designed for sustainability — from rainwater reuse and smart climate controls to recycled materials — it’s architecture that connects community, culture and nature.

Club Cash |2024

Born from a founder’s vision, Club Cash is a club for connection: two single‑storey pavilions arranged around vibrant interior courtyards that stitch sport, social life and nature into one fluid experience. The modular metal structure and sloping lightweight roofs frame a multipurpose court, fitness and studio rooms, two indoor pools, a 400‑person event hall, terraces, cafeteria and covered gardens.

Courtyards act as light wells and natural ventilation corridors, while passive strategies and durable materials keep the complex efficient and resilient.

More than facilities, Club Cash is a social hub—designed to foster interaction, belonging and everyday community life.

Modernist mastery by architects—Alliance: a 1,022 m² bar of local Algonquin limestone, glass, and aluminum perched on a 30% slope, framing epic views over a spring-fed pond. Multigenerational retreat with axial spaces blending indoors/out—living, dining, pool terraces, and fire pits flow seamlessly.

Engineering highlight: 60m 'floating' concrete roof slab (just 6mm deflection!) via custom post-tensioning, 56-day formwork, and X-capitals. Geothermal, triple-glazing, and deep overhangs keep it sustainable.
