🏆 2026 INTERNATIONAL ARCHITECTURE AWARDS WINNER🏆
Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority Headquarters | Kuwait City | 2025

A new landmark rises on Kuwait’s skyline: the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority Headquarters, designed by Gulf Consult + CambridgeSeven.

Rising 51 storeys, the tower brings together public and private functions through a layered spatial hierarchy, from civic spaces at its base to executive levels above. At its heart, a Sky Garden offers light, greenery, and calm—a true “city within a tower.”

Its sculpted façade responds intelligently to Kuwait’s climate, combining natural light, solar protection, BIPV panels, and ventilation strategies for comfort and energy efficiency. With flexible workspaces, sustainable landscaping, and panoramic views, the headquarters embodies innovation, civic pride, and forward-thinking ambition.

🏆 2026 INTERNATIONAL ARCHITECTURE AWARDS WINNER🏆
Light(car)House | Eumseong-gun, South Korea | 2024

Light(car)House reimagines a small public parking facility as a civic space that brings safety, visibility, and dignity to everyday life in rural Eumseong-eup.

Designed by Sung et Associés architecture, the project features a double-skin façade of perforated aluminium panels and reclaimed steel louvres, providing natural ventilation and reducing interior temperatures by up to 8°C in summer. With a modular steel frame, 30% reclaimed from nearby industrial sites, the building supports longevity, repairability, and low-carbon construction.

At night, its porous façade emits a gentle, even glow, eliminating dark zones and making surrounding streets safer for children, elderly residents, and pedestrians. Developed through more than thirty community meetings and workshops, Light(car)House shows how modest infrastructure can become a place of care, connection, and civic pride.
