🏛 The Ragon Institute | Cambridge, MA | 2024

Perched on a triangular site in Kendall Square, the Ragon Institute unites world-leading researchers tackling infectious diseases like HIV-AIDS and SARS/COVID.

Its sculptural, light-filled form floats above a continuous landscape, with a green roof sloping three stories down to create a new “Urban Forest.” Scalloped sunshades wrap the façade, balancing performance, sustainability, and a soft contrast to the area’s corporate architecture.

At its heart: an organically shaped atrium that floods labs, offices, and collaboration spaces with natural light—fostering connection, innovation, and discovery.

📍Allentown Arts Park Pavilion | Philadelphia, PA
🎯Music, theater, art and a new civic gathering place.

A passive green space reimagined as the gateway to Allentown’s Arts Walk. The new curving laminated-wood pavilion,inspired by sheet music, drapery, and the city’s textile history, serves as a band shell and support space for local and regional performances, from ticketed concerts to free community events. Its form provides shelter and shade, a backstage “green room,” and a flexible suspended truss for customizable sound and lighting. Laminated wood was chosen for its structural flexibility and sustainability.

This pavilion is part of a multi-phase park renewal that includes new paving, landscaping, improved lighting, restrooms, and a plaza for a potential café—meant to make the park more accessible, active, and connected to surrounding cultural institutions like Miller Symphony Hall and the Allentown Art Museum.

Far Rockaway Library | New York, NY, USA | 2024

Far Rockaway Library, Queens — where architecture meets community and art. Designed by Snøhetta with artist José Parlá, the new library reflects the neighborhood’s diversity through custom façade panels, fritted colored glass, and an inverted pyramidal atrium that floods the interiors with natural light.

More than a repository for books, it doubles library space and adds a teen room, meeting centers, a Small Business Center, and a public garden — a welcoming civic hub at the corner of Mott and Central Avenues.

From soaring 30-ft ceilings and monolithic St. Laurent marble walls to custom champagne-toned metals and carved glass transoms, every detail blends crisp sophistication with timeless elegance.

🎨 The space is alive with art:
Kan Yasuda’s four massive Carrara marble touchstones invite visitors to sit, lean, and connect
Hiroshi Senju’s luminous waterfall painting greets commuters from the eastern concourse
FXCollaborative Architects transformed this Midtown landmark into a micro eco-system: retail hub, transportation nexus, living lounge, and immersive art gallery—all with resilient, vibrant elegance.

Land’s Sake Farmstand |2024

A Net‑Zero pavilion at the heart of a 40‑acre agrarian campus, the new Farmstand and Animal Barn celebrate craft, community and conservation. Heavy timber frames, sliding wood and polycarbonate panels, and an iconic solar array let the buildings open onto the landscape while honoring New England’s “First Settlers” heritage.

Result of a 7‑year pro‑bono master plan, the project helped secure a 30‑year lease to preserve the farm, support education for 8,000 children annually, and donate 30% of produce to hunger relief.

DIGSAU’s restoration transforms Paul Cret’s 1925 galleries into bright, flexible exhibition and teaching spaces while honoring the original architecture. Natural light, restored limestone, and subtle modern systems open the collection to everyone — with new accessible entries, interconnected gallery passages in oiled bronze, and flexible volumes that let curators reimagine the site.

A welcoming spiritual haven redesigned by Olson Kundig to foster community in South Lake Union. From the old, oversized 1960s building to this compact gem: intimate meditation nooks, versatile event spaces for yoga, open mics, and more—framed by treehouse-like views of Denny Park.

Warm wood interiors glow like a tansu chest, with repurposed elements honoring its history. Transparent, nature-connected, and open to all.

📍 Post Hotel Rehabilitation, Bridgeport, CT (2024)

Reviving history in downtown Bridgeport! This 36-room boutique hotel blends a restored c.1892 red brick icon with a sleek, light-brick modern tower—creating tense yet harmonious architecture. A glass gasket links old and new, channeling light into the heart of the 27,252 sq ft space.

Massive plate-glass windows, a central light-filled void, exposed original brick, rooftop bar, speakeasy, and ground-floor retail (coffee shop, flower shop, sneakers & more) revitalize the neighborhood. Chef Ro Sanders leads F&B. Opening 2026—approved by CT Historic Preservation!
