The Care Farming Network Online Map & Directory started with 13 care farms in 2021. Today, we're at 398! We're proud of this growing network--and the community building, healing, and meaningful work each map pin represents. With each farm that joins, we get closer to our vision of a care farm in every county.

Are you part of a care farm that hasn't joined the directory? Help us reach the milestone of 400 farms in the network! Aspiring care farmers can join, too. The Online Map & Directory link--where you'll find instructions to join--is in the comments.

If your listing needs updating, you'll find instructions at the link in the comments as well.

This month, we're spotlighting the wonderful work of Bridges For Brain Injury, Inc and Wildlife Rockstars as our Featured Farm 🎉

Based in Farmington, New York, Bridges for Brain Injury supports individuals with traumatic brain injuries and physical disabilities — and their families — in moving from survival toward independence, dignity, and hope.

Wildlife Rockstars is a wildlife & conservation education program run by Bridges for Brain Injury staff and day program members. As part of their rehabilitation, members are re-building and learning new skills as they are trained in the handling and care of live native and exotic animals, birds, reptiles and more.

Join the Care Farming Network for our “Virtual Deep Dive” — a one-hour, in-depth look at a single care farm in our network. Think of it as a virtual farm tour, minus the mud boots.

This one-hour “Deep Dive” features New Growth Project in Michigan, a care farm centered on employing growers with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). You’ll hear their origin story, how they operate day-to-day, what’s working, and what’s hard — followed by 15 minutes of open Q&A.

Whether you’re an aspiring care farmer, an established practitioner, or simply curious, you’ll come away with a real, on-the-ground picture of how one care farm is building community, purpose, and meaningful employment.

Thursday, June 11th
3–4 PM Eastern | 2-3 PM Central | 1-2 PM Mountain | 12-1 PM Pacific

Registration is free. Everyone is welcome.
