TI is proud to continue our long-standing tradition of supporting by collecting food and raising critical financial resources for our neighbors.

This year, that support is more important than ever. As the costs of food, housing, healthcare, utilities, and transportation continue to rise, more families are finding it difficult to make ends meet. The people turning to Manna are our neighbors, friends, coworkers, and parents in our children’s schools.

Please join us in the spirit of , healing the world, to fight hunger in our community. You can bring your donation of food to Tikvat Israel from Sept. 10 - Oct. 5, or click below to donate funds that will be used to purchase additional food.

September is Hunger Action Month! This year’s theme, Play Your Part, is a reminder that ending hunger takes all of us.
From sorting food to packing orders to helping distribute groceries, volunteers make a real difference in getting food to our neighbors. 💙 Shoutout to the ACES Ambassador Leadership Program from Montgomery College for playing their part with Manna!

40% of households across the DMV region who are food insecure have children in the household.

SNAP works alongside school meal programs to help students stay healthy, learning, and ready to succeed. While we support local families through our school-based programs (like weekly bags of shelf-stable items and monthly market distributions), SNAP remains a crucial part of making sure every child has access to healthy food.

We’re asking for your support today to:
1. Call the Capitol Switchboard at 202-224-3121 to tell your members of Congress to protect and invest in SNAP and support children’s health and learning.
2. Visit https://frac.org/snap-week-of-action for other ways to support SNAP.
