📢 Family 599 Community — We Need Your Support
We are reaching out for Montgomery Village Middle School with an urgent request to help one of our families facing a devastating crisis.
Yesterday, a townhouse fire completely destroyed a student’s home, leaving the family displaced with almost all belongings lost. They currently only have enough funds for a few nights in a hotel, and the family has been temporarily separated while trying to find safe housing. Heartbreakingly, they also lost both of their cats in the fire.
This family is navigating major challenges, including:
• A parent who works on an on‑call basis with unstable income
• A 24‑year‑old daughter with a disability who uses a wheelchair
• Loss of critical medical equipment (a specialized bed and protective helmet), which the family had been paying for out of pocket and was not covered by insurance
