The vision of FCA is to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the INFLUENCE of coaches and athletes. Influence is an essential word in FCA as influence means impact, importance, and inspiration. The picture on the left is an FCA classic from an image taken in 1967 of a little boy looking on older boys in admiration and inspiration. The picture on the right is another little boy in 2026 who tags along as his dad speaks to teams. In that process, this little boy receives love, care, and support from high school boys who, maybe without realizing it, are having great influence on this little boy. As his dad, I know this will have lasting impact beyond what the high school boys or his son will realize, and for that, I’m eternally grateful.
As a new school year begins this week, our local FCA staff look forward to seeing the influence of many student leaders will have with their classmates, teammates, and many others because of the influence Jesus Christ has had on their own lives. We pray that your influence creates a lasting impact with the importance of the gospel that inspires others to follow Christ.
