Being defined by God means knowing that our circumstances don’t have the power to define our lives. Jesus is the anchor of our identity, and He’s leading us where He wants us to go to accomplish His will.

God has us here on purpose. What we’re going through is part of a bigger plan, part of advancing the Kingdom. Because ultimately, “It’s not about me. It’s all about Him.”

What you’re going through right now isn’t for nothing. There’s a purpose behind it. There’s a reason behind it. God has a bigger picture at play in your life.

Your circumstances can become doorways into people’s lives, causing you to cross paths with people you may have never crossed paths with otherwise.

Trust that God has it, and He’s leading you where He wants you to go to accomplish His will.

The third part of our mission is to “Send Disciples for Jesus.”

Jesus doesn’t appoint the elite; He appoints the available. In Luke 10, we may not know the names, backgrounds, or qualifications of the 72, but we know they love Jesus, follow Jesus, were transformed by Jesus, and were commissioned on a mission for Jesus and by Jesus.

That’s what it means to live sent: “We don’t have to be awesome. We just have to be available for Jesus to use.”

What would it look like to pray prayers for more? There’s nothing wrong with praying for God’s continued blessing and protection. But what if we also prayed for more? More of God’s presence. More lives transformed. More chains broken. More revival in our homes, our church, and our community.
