On February 21st at St. Paul Armenian Church, the ACC hosted Julianne (Marashian) Burk of Jul's Armenian Kitchen as she led a lively kurabia‑making demonstration using a recipe shared by Armen Bacon. Forty participants gathered to learn, laugh, and enjoy a lentil‑soup lunch, all while celebrating tradition, community, and the joy of trying again. Thank you, Julianne, for an unforgettable demo and a delicious afternoon at St. Paul Armenian Church. ✨🍪🌼

On Saturday, November 8th the Central Valley community came together for the Moordigian Open House, sponsored by the Armenian Cultural Conservancy (ACC)

Thanks to the generosity of its supporters, ACC raised over $4,800 towards the relocation of the historic Vartanian House and outbuildings. This campaign is more than bricks and mortar - it's about creating a lasting center to preserve and celebrate the story of Armenians in Central California.

Attendees were welcomed into the 1947 historic home of Helen Moordigian, lovingly restored by Helen and her late husband Dudley, where they experienced a glimpse of the past through the unique collection of family history, artwork and hobby displays. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Helen for opening her doors and sharing her family's legacy with our community.

Meanwhile, guests were able to visit outside while enjoying flavorful Armenian treats and listening to the live music of talented oudist Peter Dorian.

To everyone who joined us, supported us and continues to champion this cause: thank you. Your contributions bring us closer to saving the Vartanian House and ensuring the preservation of the Armenian story in the Central Valley for generations to come.

Do you want to be part of this journey? Visit the link in our bio or head to www.armenianculturalconservancy.org to support the campaign. Together we can save the Vartanian House!
