As we close out the week, we’re proud to recognize our next two Pillar Champions! 🏆

Mrs. Aldape, a Theatre and English teacher at Glacier Point, has inspired students for years through performance, writing, and a love of the arts. Mrs. Aldape brings the District core values of Character, Leadership, Innovation, and Continuous Improvement to life each day. She is truly a wonderful example of our Arts Pillar. 🎭✨

We are also thrilled to recognize Central Unified’s Grounds Specialist, Mr. Cazarez, as our Ag Pillar Honoree! Mr. Cazarez has transformed fields of dirt into vibrant spaces where students can pursue their dreams. His hard work behind the scenes keeping our environment thriving, along with his dedication to advancing drought-tolerant initiatives across the District, makes him a true representative of our Ag Pillar. 🌱🚜

Please join us in congratulating these outstanding Pillar Champions! Celebrate with us at the annual State of the District on October 29th. Tickets and details are available on our website.

⛳ What a day on the course!

Our 5th Annual Charity Golf Tournament was a huge success, and it was all thanks to the incredible people who played, volunteered, donated, and cheered us on. Together, we nearly doubled last year’s fundraising total! This year, five contest holes hosted by some of our amazing parent groups added even more fun to the day. Take a look at a few of our favorite moments!

Missed out this time? Mark your calendar for next year, September 2027. You won’t want to miss it! Early-Bird registration goes on-sale in the Spring!

Staff & student volunteers have been hard at work preparing for the grand reopening of the Teague Community Pantry and the grand opening of the Panther Pantry! Both pantries serve Central Unified students and their families by appointment. If you or someone you know could use a little extra help with food, please contact the Family Outreach Liaison at your school site. Please note that the El Capitan Pantry will be temporarily closed.

Thank you Central Unified School District for hosting another great Welcome back event for the staff of CUSD.

As co-host of the event we were able to celebrate the new school year with fresh picked flowers, food, and giveaways throughout the entire event!

Have a BLOOMING school year! 💐

We’re kicking off the 26-27 school year with new team members of the Foundation!

Please join us in welcoming our new interns, Hailey and Miguel to the team. Hailey comes to us from Fresno State, and Miguel is our intern from Fresno Pacific. Both are bringing fresh ideas and energy from their studies. We can’t wait to see the impact they’ll make across our programs! You’ll spot them lending a hand at events, helping with marketing, working in the food pantry, and supporting our donor stewardship efforts. If you see Hailey or Miquel around, don’t be shy and say hello.

Here’s to a fantastic year ahead!

Thank you, Mayor Jerry Dyer and the One Fresno Foundation for your continued investment in higher education and the future of our students!

Today, we proudly celebrated 10 outstanding scholars who each received a $1,000 scholarship to support the next chapter of their educational journey. Whether they're continuing their education at Fresno State, the University of Michigan, or beyond, these students will always carry their Fresno and Central Unified roots with them.

Congratulations to each of these incredible scholars and their families on this well-deserved achievement. We can't wait to see all they accomplish!🙌
