Thank you to the Leadership Fresno Class of 40, the Fresno Chamber of Commerce, our many project donors, volunteers, collaborators, families, and friends who helped bring this beautiful community art installation to life at the Teague Community Center.

This tree is more than a sculpture — it is a reflection of community itself: deeply rooted in place, strengthened by many hands, and reaching outward toward a future that connects us all.

To the new friends of our West-Central Fresno community who gave a piece of their heart through both dollars and sweat equity, thank you. Every branch and limb now symbolizes relationships tied together in shared purpose — helping not only our neighborhoods flourish, but contributing to a stronger, more connected Fresno.

At Highway City Community Development, we believe in building complete communities of caring neighbors — from care navigation and family support, to community development, public spaces, infrastructure, and opportunities that help people thrive.

This installation is a reminder that beauty matters. Belonging matters. And lasting change happens when people stay invested in the work together.

We are grateful for every partnership that continues helping us build bridges, strengthen community, and grow something beautiful together.

This Tuesday!

We have our Health Clinic at the Teague Community Resource Center by Highway City CDC. After you come and get checked out by the amazing teams of doctors that will be there. Go grab some tacos at one of the many amazing taco trucks in the CUSD area to celebrate Cinco de Mayo!

Just FYI- this collaboration has really captured some underlying health issues in our students, and allowed parents the knowledge of next steps and great consultations so we have healthy children. I am so grateful that parents have this access.

Tendremos nuestra Clínica de Salud en el Centro de Recursos Comunitarios Teague de Highway City CDC. Después de venir y ser atendidos por los increíbles equipos de doctores que estarán allí, vayan a disfrutar unos tacos en uno de los muchos y excelentes camiones de tacos en el área de CUSD para celebrar el Cinco de Mayo.

Solo para informarles: esta colaboración realmente ha ayudado a identificar algunos problemas de salud subyacentes en nuestros estudiantes y ha brindado a los padres el conocimiento sobre los próximos pasos y excelentes consultas para asegurar que tengamos niños saludables. Estoy muy agradecido de que los padres tengan este acceso.
