Freedom Food Pantry "Crop Drop" 🌱

​Have extra produce growing in your garden? Share the harvest with our community!
​Join us for our upcoming Crop Drop event where our wonderful volunteers will be right on-site to warmly accept your fresh garden donations. Whether you have an abundance of tomatoes, greens, root vegetables, or other fresh produce, every contribution helps families in need enjoy healthy, home-grown food.

🌱 Got Extra Produce? Share Your Harvest with Our Community! 🥬🍅

If your home garden is bursting with fresh vegetables or fruit, the Freedom Food Pantry would love to put your bounty to good use! Fresh produce is always a highlight for local families, and your extra garden harvest makes a huge difference.

What We’re Looking For:

Tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, and squash

Peppers, carrots, onions, and potatoes

Fresh herbs, apples, berries, and any extra garden fruit/veggies!

Drop-Off Details:

⏰ Drop-Off Times: Thursday 8/20 5:30 - 6:30

PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE PRODUCE AT THE TOWN HALL WHEN THE PANTRY IS CLOSED. THERE IS NO ONE TO SECURE YOUR DONATIONS!!!

Even a few extra tomatoes or a surplus of zucchini helps feed local neighbors. Thank you for sharing the fruits of your labor with our community! 💚

Thank you to Freedom Boy Scout Troop 105 for their extremely generous donation of $1,347.61 to the Freedom Food Pantry!
​Pictured giving the donation from Troop 105 is Eagle Scout Hayden Gulmire. Due to declining participation in Freedom Scouts, there will no longer be Scouting for Food in the Freedom area, making this final contribution all the more special.
​Thank you to Hayden and everyone involved with Troop 105 for your years of dedication and support to our community!

A Community Success Story: Back-to-School Kickoff!

​Thanks to the incredible partnership between the Freedom Food Pantry, Secura Insurance, and our community, dozens of local students are heading back to school fully equipped for success! Pictured here is the distribution setup filled with brand-new backpacks, folders, notebooks, and all the essential supplies needed to start the academic year strong. We are deeply grateful to Secura Insurance for their generous grant and to our amazing community for their continued support, which made this event possible. A warm and SINCERE Thank You to St. Edward’s Parish! 🥫❤️
​We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible generosity of the parishioners at St. Edward's! For their 4th annual food drive, organized by Randy and Paula Carlson, this amazing community came together and donated over 400 lbs of food for the Freedom Food Pantry!
​Your support helps us keep our shelves stocked and ensures that families in our community have access to the food they need. Thank you to everyone who donated, and a special thank you to Randy, Paula, and everyone at St. Edward’s for your continuous dedication and hard work. You are truly changing lives!
