Meet Susan Hoffmann, VFW Auxiliary President of Freedom VFW Post 7692!

Susan has been a dedicated Auxiliary member for 5 years. She joined in honor of her veteran grandfather, Tony Vanden Hoogen, and after being deeply moved by the beautiful ceremony the Post & Auxiliary performed at her dad’s funeral in 2020. That tribute inspired her to become part of an organization that honors veterans and their families.

A few fun facts:
🇺🇸 Loves marching in parades
🍂 Favorite season is fall, she enjoys the changing colors & cooler temps

Thank you to everyone who attended the Memorial Day observations, from Mass at St. Nicholas Cemetery to the ceremonies held at our four cemeteries in Freedom.
