The Bulldogs went into playoffs yesterday ready to battle.

They had a round one match up against Avonworth. It was a nail biter. Congrats yo Ali Millward on her first true win. Later, the boys were down nine with two matches to go. Charlie Brenckle recoded a decision. Then, Lennon Miller recorded the fall to tie the match 36-36. Thanks to criteria D, (most team wins- 7-6) the Dogs edged the tiebreaker to win 37-36 and move on.

In the next round, the boys fought hard but lost to eventual state qualifying team, Laurel. Key wins in the match include Roo Shiring beating a good wrestler and Brayden Reynolds beating a state qualifier.

This coming Wednesday is the last chance to catch the boys as a team before they start their individual post season journeys. It will be youth night and senior night. Action starts at 5:30 between Fort Cherry and South Side. Senior night recognition will start at 6:15 and our boys will face Fort Cherry immediately after. At the conclusion of that match, the boys will face South Side for the final duel of the year.

We thank Spokane Orthodontics for sponsoring our section championship shirts again this year! We appreciate your continued support to do something special for the boys!
