As a reminder and for those who missed the livestock exhibitors meeting, there are 2 steps to sign up for livestock projects this year:
1. Enroll in ZSuites and complete enrollment through the waivers section and club section. If you are only taking livestock projects, once you get to projects you can stop (Step 7 on following link). If taking other projects, add them in the project section. A step by step guide and more info can be found here: https://extension.wvu.edu/youth-family/4h/join/4h-registration-help/how-to-enroll-in-4h
2. Complete this survey: https://wvu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_b132fYwaWEZ0Qv4
3. Look for an email from Jessica and confirm you are signed up for the correct livestock projects.
4. That's it!

This is for Pendleton County only! The deadline to sign up for livestock projects is January 4, 2027.

For more information on livestock projects please reach out to Jessica at [email protected] or 304-358-2286 ext 22.

Help us decorate our new office building with a fun pumpkin design! 4-H Members are invited to design their own pumpkins throughout the month of October and add them to the collection along the South End of our building.

Entries can be left along the ramp or the edge of the steps, not blocking any walkways, at any time during the month of October. Make sure your name is on the pumpkin, or you can e-mail a photo of your pumpkin to [email protected] so we know who it belongs to! A winner will be chosen for a special prize at the end of the month!

We wrapped up our time in Kalamazoo, MI at the final National Junior Horticulture Association Convention with the awards ceremony last night. In the Junior Horticulture ID & Judging Contest, Hannah Heavner received 2nd Overall Individual and Ross Pownell received 3rd Overall Individual. We are very proud of them!

West Virginia as a whole received the state spirit award. Since this was the last NJHA convention, the traveling trophy will remain in WV.

Prior to the awards ceremony, we spent the afternoon at Area 50 Fun. Now this morning country roads are taking us home! 🍀
