The Greater Franklin Food Pantry is in the Franklin Railroad and Community Museum’s Farmhouse Community Center at 574 Main Street, Franklin.

We are open to all Franklin and Treadwell residents who are in need of food. During your first visit we will ask that you complete a simple form, and then you are able to visit us, as needed, once per month.

This spring, Franklin Central School District hosted the Sidney Federal Credit Union Real World Money Edition Program. Students learn how to build a household personal budget based on real-world financial decisions, including Housing, Transportation, Child Care, Student Loans, Entertainment, Connectivity, Food, Savings, etc. Students experienced firsthand how quickly costs add up and how important budgeting and financial planning are for success.

Students were asked to vote on which community organization would benefit from the SFCU donation program. The Greater Franklin Food Pantry is grateful to the FCS students for selecting the pantry as well as to SFCU for their generous donation.

Don’t forget our Saturday hours! We are opening the pantry one Saturday a month, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. for those clients who have a challenge getting to the pantry during the week.
