The Franklin Improvement Society will host a Plants, Etc. Sale at the Franklin, NY Farmer's Market, 25 Institute St., Franklin, NY, on Sunday, May 24th, 2026, 10am-2pm. Funds raised will go towards plantings and maintenance in the Franklin Memorial Park and Franklin Edible Walking Trail and other Improvement Society projects.
The Improvement Society is seeking plant and gardening-related donations for the “Plants, Etc. Sale,” such as:
• Perennials (Spring is the time to thin & divide!)
• Annuals
• Houseplants
• Trees and shrubs
• Seeds and seedlings
• Gardening books
• Garden tools and supplies
• Flower or plant containers (pots, vases, urns, etc.)
• Garden decor
• …anything that has to do with gardening!
Donations may be dropped off the morning of the sale between 8:30am-10am. If you are unable to drop off, please contact Barbara Sandifer or private message us here on Facebook. If donating plants, please label with their common name – the more info you can provide, though, the better!
Gardeners and garden-curious, please save the date for the “Plants, Etc. Sale” and we’ll see you in May!
