Welcome neighbors!
This page was setup in order to share important news and information with everyone that lives in our phase. I’m also hoping that by having this forum, it will better serve to bring us together as neighbors and give us a platform to voice any concerns.
As many of you already know, the promised walkway that GSH initially sold so many of us on, was in fact never actually brought up in their original plans to the city. It seems to many of us to have been a very convenient selling point, described as even being able to accommodate golf carts and motorized wheelchairs. Almost just around the time when the last few homes were being constructed, we were notified after various inquiries that they were removing it from their plans.
It wasn’t until several concerned and frustrated homeowners pressed top GSH representatives about this matter, did they even agree to revisit the idea of a basic walking path. Several months passed as they promised everyone that they were busy looking into the matter, then the land was handed over to the HOA and we were basically told it was no longer within their control on what happens.
So, in a nutshell, they gave their sales team talking points to pass along to our realtors that we would have direct access to the other community, without first even checking with the city if this was even permissible. The question now is where do we go from here?
