Boone Stopwatch Coalition is a community partnership working to prevent substance use, strengthen protective factors, and promote healthier choices across Boone County, West Virginia. We bring together local organizations, schools, healthcare providers, law enforcement, families, and community members to support prevention, education, youth engagement, and community-based initiatives.

This is an important meeting for coalition members, so please make plans to attend. Community partners and anyone interested in supporting local prevention efforts are welcome!

💜🏆 Congratulations to Southwestern Regional Day Report Center, winner of the 2nd Annual Boone County Goes Purple Storefront Decorating Contest in celebration of National Recovery Month, sponsored by Boone Memorial Health's Brighter Futures program.

Their creativity and thoughtfulness shined through in every detail. From “Our recovery is more precious than gold” to a “Take What You Need” display offering reminders of self-love, support, and growth, their decorations shared a powerful message: recovery is worth celebrating, and everyone deserves encouragement along the way. 🌈💜

Thank you for putting so much heart into your display and helping Boone County celebrate recovery, spread hope, and challenge stigma.

Thank you to EVERY business and organization that participated. Together, we’re reminding our neighbors that they have a community cheering them on. 💜

The community is invited to attend a Recovery Walk on September 18 at 4:30 PM. 💜

The walk will begin at Market on Main, located at 397 Main Street in Madison. A resource fair and candlelight vigil will follow.

Come together to support recovery, honor lives, and remind those on their recovery journey that they are never alone.
