Our June ADSO Monthly Luncheon was a creative success!

Members enjoyed an inspiring presentation by Anita Vasquez, a talented fused glass artist and art educator, who shared her passion for this unique art form.

The fun didn't stop thereβ€”everyone had the opportunity to create their own pendants! It was a wonderful time of learning, creativity, and fellowship.

A big thank you to Anita for sharing her time, talent, and expertise with us. πŸ’™βœ¨

✏️🎨 Our young artists were hard at work in **Kim Urr's drawing class** during Kids Fine Art Camp!

On Thursday, campers practiced drawing from still life, beginning with detailed pencil drawings before bringing their artwork to life with vibrant colored pencils. It was wonderful to watch their confidence and creativity grow as they added color, texture, and their own unique artistic touches.

Every student did an amazing job, and we're so proud of the talent, imagination, and effort they put into their artwork. Keep up the great work, young artists! πŸŒŸπŸ–οΈ

🐟🎨 Creativity was making waves at yesterday's **Fun and Functional Ceramics - Fish Platter Workshop** with instructor Kat Cook!

The group brought plenty of talent, creativity and imagination to the clay table as they designed one-of-a-kind fish platters inspired by a variety of examples before adding their own flair. From fun and flirty fish draped in lace to whimsical designs featuring bubbles, textured scales, fancy fins, and even a striking mahi.

We loved seeing these imaginative platters come to life and can't wait to see the finished pieces emerge from the kiln. Stay tunedβ€”they're going to be spectacular! 🐠✨

🎨✨ Creativity was on full display in Carolyn Williams' watercolor class!

Wednesday during our 2026 Kids Fine Art Camp, students took part in a fun recreation of Norman Rockwell's famous Self-Portrait by creating their own self-portraits through drawing and watercolor painting.

The results were fantastic! Most importantly, everyone had a wonderful time exploring their creativity, sharing plenty of smiles and laughter along the way. Great job, artists! πŸ–ŒοΈπŸŽ¨
