It's been 31 years since someone shot and killed Edward Deresky in the Sylvania Heights area during what is believed to have been an attempted drug transaction.

The 25-year old, who had only lived in the area for about three months, was found in his truck against a tree near the corner of Shirley Drive and Marler Street on May 29th, 1995. Initially he was believed to be the victim of a traffic accident.

Once at the hospital however, doctors found Deresky had suffered a gunshot wound under his arm.

Authorities say there were several people in the area at the time of the incident and even the smallest detail could help investigators finally solve this case.
