Peach County 4-H UGA Cooperative Extension helps Georgians become healthier, more productive, financially independent

UGA Cooperative Extension was founded in 1914 to take research-based agricultural information to the people of Georgia. Through the cooperative funding of federal, state and county governments, Extension agents are in almost every county in Georgia. County agents and specialists throughout the state share information on issues like water quality, profitability in agribusiness, family wellness and

life skills. UGA Cooperative Extension coordinates 4-H, Georgia's largest youth program. Each year, almost 200,000 young Georgians participate in community projects, summer camps and conferences on today's issues while having fun and learning to work together. The leadership skills and responsible values they learn in 4-H last a lifetime.

🍀 Peach County 4-H Ambassadors at Rock Eagle! 🍀

Peach County 4-H is proud to have three outstanding 4-H’ers selected as Georgia 4-H Ambassadors! Abbey Hammond, Jack DeFore, and Makenna Wood recently attended the Ambassador Training Summit at Rock Eagle 4-H Center, where they participated in leadership workshops, team-building activities, and specialized training in their ambassador tracks.

We are excited to see these young leaders represent Peach County 4-H and share what they learned throughout the coming year. Congratulations on this achievement! 💚🍀
