🗳️ GEORGIA VOTERS: Know your provisional ballot options!

A provisional ballot allows you to vote when election workers cannot confirm your eligibility at the polling place. It is held while officials verify whether it can be counted.

You may need one if:
✅ You cannot present required identification.
✅ Your name is missing from the voter list, but you believe you are properly registered in your county.
✅ You vote during court-ordered extended hours in an election with federal candidates.

📍 Wrong precinct on Election Day? Go to your assigned precinct whenever possible. A wrong-precinct provisional ballot can count only if you vote in your county of registration after 5 p.m., before regular poll closing, and sign a sworn statement explaining why you cannot reach your correct precinct before closing. Your eligibility must still be verified.

⏰ Missing acceptable ID? Present acceptable identification to your county registrar within three days after Election Day for your provisional ballot to count.

Keep your paperwork and ask election officials what follow-up you must complete.

💜 We walk in honor. We give with purpose. We stand with you.

On Saturday, October 24, 2026, the Fort Valley Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s and raised $1,050 to support the Alzheimer’s Association’s mission.

We honor those living with Alzheimer’s, uplift caregivers and families, and remember those whose lives have been lost. Every step and every donation reflects our commitment to service and hope for a future without Alzheimer’s.

Thank you to everyone who walked, donated, and supported this cause. Together, we can make a difference! 💜

Let’s come together and invest in girls’ rights! End child marriage!

Girls everywhere are born with the inherent right to grow up in a world where their dreams and well-being are prioritized. This International Day of the Girl Child, Delta Sigma Theta is uplifting the charge to invest in girls’ rights and end child marriage.

According to UNICEF, every three seconds, a girl gets married somewhere in the world.

Delta Sigma Theta is commited to raising awareness of this prevalent issue and protecting girls around the world. Thank you to our National International Awareness and Involvement Subcommittee for their leadership and diligence toward the freedom of all girls.
