June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month - a time to recognize that mental health is just as important as physical health.

Too often, men are encouraged to carry their struggles in silence. Stress, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and life’s daily pressures can feel overwhelming, yet many men hesitate to ask for support.

The truth is that seeking help is not a sign of weakness - it is a sign of strength.

This month, we encourage everyone to check in on the men in their lives. Reach out to a friend. Call your father. Encourage a brother, son, mentor, coworker, or neighbor. Sometimes a simple conversation can make a meaningful difference.

Let’s continue breaking the stigma surrounding mental health by creating safe spaces where men feel seen, heard, and supported. Together, we can remind one another that no one has to face life’s challenges alone.

June is National Gun Violence Awareness Month, and we to honor the lives taken by gun violence and stand with the survivors left behind.

At WE LEAP Inc., we believe that change begins with education. Our mission is to raise awareness and end violence before it begins. By equipping our community, youth, and educators with the proper tools and resources, we can rewrite the narrative and build a safer, more peaceful future together.

Supporting those who have been affected by violence or injustice is crucial. It involves providing emotional support, connecting them with resources, and advocating on their behalf. By supporting victims and survivors we help them heal and rebuild their lives.

This heartbreaking situation is a reminder that domestic violence can happen anywhere.

Many warning signs are unseen, ignored, or dismissed until it’s too late.

At WE LEAP, domestic violence awareness and prevention is one of our mission because we believe education, support, and intervention can save lives.
