GOD THE HEALER -The Fatal Choice

The Fatal Choice
. . for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

—Genesis 2:17

God gave a warning to Adam and Eve not to eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, for they would surely die if they did. Even though the warning was given, Adam and Eve disobeyed and ate. Just as God had told them, in that day they died. We know they did not die physically, because they lived many more years on the earth; so we must conclude they died that day spiritually. Spiritual death, or separation from God, came into their nature, and they were forced to live out of the soul realm. Spiritual death, which is the seed to sickness, disease, guilt, condemnation, and the curse, had come upon mankind. God did not get mad at Adam and spiritually kill him. God did not get mad at Adam and judge him by killing him spiritually. Adam chose spiritual death, and he received what he chose. Adam became a new creation, a new spiritual being that had never existed before—but instead of faith, he had fear; instead of fellowship with God, he hid from God; instead of blessing, he received the curse. Everything God had made was good; it was created for man because of God’s love for man. God never intended for man to be guilty, condemned, fearful, sick, and depressed. Man chose his position in life through disobedience to the warning of God. God is a good God.

GOD’S WILL IS VICTORY! - Why Jesus Came

Why Jesus Came

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
—1 John 3:8

The l***r in Matthew 8:1–4 asked Jesus outright if He wanted to heal him. This l***r is like today’s Church. We know that God can. But the question is, will He? “If You want to, You can make me whole.” God is almighty. God is all-powerful. He can, but will He? We need to know more than His ability; we need to know His will. Jesus stated, “I will.” We need to know and believe that God can, and also that it is His will. Now we can enforce and prove His will in our lives, which is healing. The very purpose for which Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was manifested was to destroy the works of the devil. God’s will is to destroy the works of the devil and reinstate man to his original position. The works of the devil are sin, sickness, lack, fear, and the curse. God does not will to allow the devil to work, He does not want to put the devil’s works on you to teach and/or punish you, but He does desire to destroy the devil’s works. Jesus was the will of God in action. He went around destroying the works of the devil. God’s will is to destroy the works of the devil in your life, to deliver you from this present evil world. This now gives you boldness and the legal right to stand against the works of the devil. It also gives you the right to heal the sick and set others free because it is God’s will.

The Will of God in Action

I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just: because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. —John 5:30

Jesus sought the will of the Father. You need to seek the will of the Father in His Word. His Word is His will. You may not know the will of God for you directly, but one thing we do know from Galatians 1:4 is that His will is that you would be delivered from this present evil world. When you know His will is victory for you, you will seek His will. If His will for you is defeat, there is no sense trying to live in victory. If His will is sickness for you, then there is no sense trying to get healed. If you really believe sickness is His will for you, and you want His will for you, then going to the doctor and taking medicine would be a mistake, because it would take you out of His will. If you believe sickness is His will for you, then you should pray for more and longer sickness to stay in His will. But His will for you is not sickness! It is that you would be delivered from every evil work! Jesus always did what pleased the Father (John 8:29). He always did the will of the Father and He always walked by faith. Because of this, He always lived in victory. Jesus did not live in victory because He was Jesus; He lived in victory because He lived by faith. Jesus was challenged all the time, but His answer was always the same: “It is written.” Your faith does not eliminate trials and troubles in your life; it enables you to go through them in peace and joy. Jesus said that if you have seen Him, you have seen the Father. Jesus was the will of God in action. If you study the life of Jesus by studying the Word of God, you will know the will of God. When you know His will, you can use faith to enforce His will in your life. Faith begins when you know the will of God.

Damaging Doctrines
. . who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world,
according to the will of God and our Father. —Galatians 1:4

Jesus gave Himself so that we would be delivered from this present world system, from the evil in the world. How are you going to live delivered and as a world overcomer? Faith! We have been taught certain things that destroy faith: “You never know what God will do”; “God moves in mysterious ways.” How can you have faith in God to do what you don’t know He will do? People say, “I’m just believing God!” I ask, “For what?” They reply, “Whatever God wants.” How can you use your dominion to receive what God might not want you to have? We have been taught that God heals some but not others. How can I believe that God will heal me if I’m one of those whom He doesn’t want to heal? How will I even know if I am one He wants to heal or one He doesn’t want to heal? We have nullified our faith and given up our dominion with the attitude that it’s up to God if I live sick or healed, with needs met or in lack! The most damag- ing doctrine in the Church is that “God is in control of everything.” When you believe that all is up to God in your life, then there is no need for faith; God is going to do what God wants to do anyway. If it’s all up to God, I will not have to believe; I will not have to resist. I will not cast down thoughts. “Whatever happens is up to God.” No! You must know the will of God in order to enforce the will of God. Faith begins where the will of God is known. There can be no faith if you do not know God’s will. But we do know God’s will! He wills that you be delivered from this present evil world! It is in the Word, and the Word is His will. Now I can fight the good fight of faith.

RELEASING YOUR FAITH - “Bringing Forth”

“Bringing Forth”

A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. —Matthew 12:35

The power of faith will “bring forth” natural things in your life. Notice: Who brings forth? God or the man? What is brought forth depends on what is abundant in the heart. You determine what is abundant in your heart. How are things brought forth? The mouth speaks. This is the God-kind of faith, in your heart and in your mouth. God operated in Genesis by saying, “Light in Me, be! Moon in Me, be!” You operate in health by saying, “Health in me be!” “Prosperity be!” You have the divine ability to create things. You have the God-kind of faith. You can choose “this day” life or death, bless- ing or cursing (Deuteronomy 30:19). Everything you receive from God comes from the Kingdom in you, through you (Luke 17:20–21). Righteousness, peace, joy, power, and the Spirit of God (the Spirit of faith) are in you. How does the Kingdom come through you? By having the Word abundantly in your heart and then speaking it with your mouth. God spoke light in the midst of darkness. Why? He desired light, and light was in Him. “Gee, it is dark” would not have changed anything. You have the God-kind of faith. Talk health in the midst of symptoms. Talk wealth in the midst of lack. Do not join the world’s vision and talk, but join God’s way of operating and live the triumphant Kingdom life.

The Spirit of Faith

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak. —2 Corinthians 4:13

You have been given the spirit of faith. When you receive a revela tion from the Word, when you believe the Word, you will speak what you believe. “I believed, and therefore I have spoken.” Whatever you believe, you will speak! When you become transformed in your mind to the Word of God and the will of God, you will speak with a spiritual force. When things pop up in your life that are not in line with the promise, you will hit that thing with the faith and power of God. When you believe, you will speak. When you speak, things will obey you. You are the redeemed of God. You have dominion over offenses—dominion over jealousy, over strife, over all the low-life attitudes and feelings that try to hold you captive. You have been given the spirit of faith; faith is a spirit. How does the spirit of faith operate? He believes and therefore he speaks. What does the spirit believe? The Truth. Where does the spirit believe? In his heart. How does the spirit speak? With the Church’s mouth. We also believe and speak! You will speak what is abundant in your heart. Proverbs 23:7 says, “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.” There is potential in you. What you believe in your heart will eventually come forth in your life. If you think you are healed or think you are sick, if you think you are rich or think you are broke, whatever you think you are, you will be. The cause of poverty is not a lack of money. It is a lack of seeing yourself wealthy. Why would you see yourself in lack? You are looking at lack, at the bills, at your bank account, rather than at God’s Word. If you will believe the Word (the unseen), it will change the lack (that is seen).

Where Is Your Victory?

But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach. —Romans 10:6–8

God never said if you need something, call on Me. He said not to talk like I’m up there and need to come down to help you. Don’t talk like I’m down there and need to come up. Your victory is in your heart and in your mouth. If victory isn’t there, then something else is in your heart and mouth. The Word says that in these last days perilous times will come. Some will depart from the faith, not a faith. There is only one faith that prevails. It is the God-kind of faith, which is faith in the Word. Romans 12:2 says there are only two ways to live: conformed to the world or transformed to God’s will. What makes the difference? What you think. The world lives in worry and fear; the Kingdom citizen lives by faith and their God-given authority. The key to victory is a mind renewed to the Word of God. A transformed mind believes and proves the will of God (Romans 12:2). When challenges come against the will of God in your life, faith will remove them. The Word in your mouth and heart will remove fear, worry, symptoms, depression, and all devices of the devil. You will never have a week without opposition. You will be opposed, and when that opposition comes, “whoever shall say.” God desires that you release your faith and your authority; that you talk to symptoms, fear, and worldly thoughts. Jesus spoke to sickness, devils, trees, to all kinds of things that came against God’s will. Whosoever shall say shall have whatsoever he says.
