The HANDS Clinic provides free healthcare to those who need it most — because everyone deserves access to quality medical care, regardless of income. Lucie County is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization providing free, high-quality medical and dental care to low-income, uninsured adults in St. Founded in 2010, we are an affiliate of Volunteers in Medicine and the only free and charitable clinic serving our community. Treasure Coast Food Bank is at HANDS Clinic today helping patients with Medicaid applications.

A Medicaid ineligibility letter is one of the documents required during the eligibility screening process to become a HANDS Clinic patient. Treasure Coast Food Bank is available at the Clinic most Tuesdays to help patients apply for Medicaid and obtain the documentation they need.

Meet one of our newest volunteers, Jessica!

Jessica attends The University of Florida, where she is studying to become a Dentist.

Jessica chose to volunteer with HANDS Clinic to help serve in her community for the summer. We are happy to have her as part of our volunteer team!

In just one day, our team completed the patient’s eligibility screening, scheduled an appointment with a provider and connected them with one of our partnering specialty offices.
