2nd Weekend in March 13th 14th & 15th 2020 The Annual "Raid on Fort Pierce" (east coast of Florida). Hosted by the 8th Florida Company "C" the 75th Ohio OVI US. All proceeds to benefit the Event , The Css Hunley Award for out standing JROTC Cadets and the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Reenactors help is needed at school day Friday, Mar. 8th. Battles on Saturday at 1:30 PM and Sunday at 1:30 PM. 11 am Saturday Morning Ladies tea and 8pm our Bon Fire Frolic or if we have enough ladies and gentlemen we will have a period Ball New larger battlefield with bridge to fight for. Union and Confederate larger camps. Modern camp with hook up for RV (fee charged, electric and water). Call the County Park at 772-464-7855 for reservations. Hot water showers, laundry and indoor bathrooms. Firewood provided. Powder ration to the first Union and Confederate artillery pieces registered. Cavalry units welcome. Sutlers by invitation only. The Best Battle in Florida , Very Impressive Show. Located at Savanna County Park, 1400 East Midway Road in Fort Pierce. Directions: I-95 to exit 126. This is Midway Road (SR 712). Go east approximately 5.5 miles to Savanna County Park (left side of road). If traveling from the west coast, take SR 60 or SR 70 to I-95. Go south on I-95 to exit #126 which is State Road 712 or Midway Road. Go east approx. 5.5 miles to the park. 772-318-8258 or [email protected]
