Paul Lagasse of Eagle Lake and Fort Kent passed away at a Fort Kent Health Facility on March 12, 2026. Paul was born in South Kingstown, RI, on January 1, 1944.
He was predeceased by his parents, Lorenza (Gagnon) and Joseph Lagasse; his first wife, Diana Bouchard, in 1966; and second wife, Louise Baron, in 2007; his brother, Jeremiah "Jerry" Gagnon; and sister, Shirley Gagnon.
Paul served in the Navy during the Vietnam War for four years and the National Guards for 26 years. He was an active member at the VFW and American Legion in Fort Kent.
Paul is survived by his nieces, Nathalie (Mark) Powell of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Angela (Antonio) Rueda of Seville, Spain, and Katherine (Steve) Stanton of Houston, Texas; and nephew, Erich Lagasse of Houston, Texas.
There will be no visitations. A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at St. John Vianney Parish in Fort Kent. Condolences may be shared at michaudfuneralhomes.com.

7:00 am to 9:30am. Open to the public for a $10,00 donation will get you a big full breakfast Bean, Ham, Links, Bacon, Home fries, French toast, orange juice, Coffee. Thank You for supporting our local Veterans & American Legion.
