Movement is one of the biggest tools in the fight for better mental health. We understand the conundrum of being down, depressed and feeling sedentary as a result. Dig extra deep and find the discipline to move your body. Movement releases endorphins, and the end result is better overall health. The entire time we were in the military, readiness was a top priority. We did that to appease military standards. Why not exercise the same level of readiness to combat PTSD, anxiety and depression?

MVP has an awesome partnership with Titan Athletics and veterans may train MMA for free. If you're not ready to join Titan, we have gym recommendations and / or we will draft you a workout plan to do on your own.

Endorphins saves lives. Movement saves lives. Make today the day you start living a better life through healthy decisions, movement and reach reaching out to MVP to fill in the blanks 💪

The summer season rolls on, and our volunteers are hard at work keeping the museum ready for visitors every day!

From guiding visitors through the exhibits to working the register and keeping the Gift Shop stocked (like Penny here), our volunteers help make everything we do possible.

We’re grateful for the time, care, and energy they bring to the museum all season long. Thank you to all of our volunteers for helping us keep generations connected!

America’s Veterans answered the call, served our country, and sacrificed for our freedom. The benefits they earned are a promise- and VA is here to deliver.

A Marine who gave everything.
During the Vietnam War, Pfc. Bruce W. Carter was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor after sacrificing his life to shield fellow Marines from an enemy gr***de near Da Nang, Vietnam. Today, the VA Medical Center in Miami, Florida, honors his legacy of valor.
