MEET YOUR CARNIVAL OF GIVING HOST: FP Assistance

There’s a lot that happens behind the scenes to make sure children have access to nutritious meals—and FP Assistance has been doing that work for more than 30 years.

Based right here in Forney, FP Assistance partners with child care centers participating in the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program, providing nutrition guidance, training, administrative assistance, and ongoing support. Today, their partnerships help more than 650 child care centers serve nutritious meals and snacks to over 50,000 Texas children—with approximately 165,000 meals provided every day.

That is a BIG impact happening from an organization right here in our community.

We’re excited to have FP Assistance helping host Carnival of Giving and giving you an opportunity to learn more about the work happening behind every one of those meals.
