Today is not just about a long weekend, cookouts, or time off. It’s about remembering the brave men and women who gave everything for this country and the freedoms we often take for granted.
Memorial Day is a reminder that behind every flag is a sacrifice, behind every freedom is a story, and behind every fallen hero is a family forever changed. Some came home draped in a flag instead of an embrace, and their courage deserves more than a passing thought once a year.
Today, we honor those who answered the call without hesitation and paid the ultimate price. May we never forget their service, their sacrifice, and the debt we can never truly repay.
Gone, but never forgotten.

Vetwork is Hiring – Part Time Position 🇺🇸

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking individual to join our team 2–3 days per week assisting with our veteran food pantry operations.

Responsibilities include:
• Stocking shelves and organizing pantry supplies
• Maintaining a clean and orderly environment
• Picking up and distributing food to veterans
• Assisting with general pantry operations as needed

Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Organized and detail oriented
• Positive attitude and willingness to help veterans

Great opportunity for college or high school students looking for meaningful part-time work and community service experience.

We are a small veteran-run non-profit organization based in Forked River, NJ, seeking a motivated and dependable Office Receptionist / Transportation Coordinator to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a mission-driven environment supporting veterans.

Responsibilities include:
• Answering phones and assisting visitors
• Coordinating transportation and scheduling
• Maintaining organized records and office operations
• Keeping the office clean, professional, and tidy
• Assisting with administrative and event-related tasks

Requirements:
• Proficient with computers and basic office software
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with veterans
• Detail-oriented and dependable
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs

Schedule:
Monday – Thursday
8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Some weekend events throughout the year may be required.
