Mississippi 4-H is introducing a brand-new competition this year — the Food Plot Contest!

This hands-on contest gives youth the opportunity to learn and apply good soil management practices while seeing firsthand how healthy soil impacts the growth and success of a food plot. It's a great way to build agricultural knowledge, develop stewardship skills, and have fun outdoors.

🐔🌻 Scott County 4-H had a wonderful time participating in the Forest Garden Club Flower Show!

Our 4-H Agent, Rayne Arnold, and 4-Her, Shelby shared information about the many benefits of raising backyard chickens. Backyard chickens can help improve your yard and garden, provide fresh eggs for your family, and create a fun and educational experience for all ages.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our exhibit and visited with us!
