Today, we celebrate freedom, resilience, culture, and the enduring strength of our ancestors. As we honor the significance of Juneteenth, may we continue to reflect on the progress made, acknowledge the work that remains, and uplift our communities through service, education, and unity.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated honors Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, as an historic moment in American history. On June 19, 1865, news of the Emancipation Proclamation finally reached the last enslaved individuals in Galveston, Texas, marking the true beginning of freedom for all.

We proudly recognize the efforts of our own trailblazing Soror, Opal Lee, the “Grandmother of Juneteenth,” whose unwavering advocacy helped make Juneteenth a federally recognized holiday in 2021.

Today, we celebrate emancipation, reflect on our ancestors’ strength and resilience, and recommit to the work of advancing justice, equity, and unity. Through education, action, and solidarity, we move closer to a world rooted in true freedom for all.

Elder abuse is a serious global issue impacting millions of older adults every year. On this important day, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated stands united in raising awareness about the mistreatment and neglect of our elders.

We are committed to creating a world where our seniors are respected, valued, and protected. Let’s take action by:

💙Educating ourselves and others
💙Supporting and checking in on our elderly community members
💙Advocating for the rights and dignity of older adults

Together, we can be a voice for those who may not be heard.

💙🤍 Sip, Squat, & Stroll Success! 🤍💙

What a wonderful time we had at our Sip, Squat, & Stroll event at Gaddis Park! We started our morning by hydrating, stretching, and getting our bodies moving with a few squats before hitting the trail. Then we enjoyed a refreshing walk, completing two laps around the park together.

The best part wasn’t just the exercise—it was the fellowship! The trail was filled with laughter, conversation, encouragement, and plenty of fun as we enjoyed each other’s company while focusing on our health and wellness. Every step was a reminder that staying active is even better when shared with friends and sisters.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made this event such a great experience. Here’s to moving our bodies, strengthening our bonds, and creating memories one stroll at a time!

💙🤍 Last chapter meeting of the 2025–2026 Sorority year, and we’re doing exactly what we came to do—standing on business!

As we close out another successful sorority year, we’re tying up loose ends, completing unfinished tasks, and handling all old business with excellence. Every meeting, every project, every act of service has helped move our chapter forward, and today, we finished strong.

Nu Pi Zeta doesn’t just start the work—we see it through. Here’s to a year of sisterhood, service, growth, and impact. Here’s to a great year
