Dear Chess players, any anyone interested in learning the game:

This is just a reminder of our upcoming meeting this weekend. We hope you will join us each month for playing chess or learning the game for the first time.
Tell your friends and invite them as well!

Our next regular meeting is set for THIS Saturday, June 6, - from 9 until 11 am at the Forest Public Library (210 South Raleigh St.)
All skill levels and ages are welcome - beginner to experienced.

I haven't had time to do June's newsletter. As soon as I do, likely this weekend, I will post it on our website by Sunday evening.

We have the 5th Bienville Chess Classic (April 18) in the history books. Thank you to all of our players who traveled to Scott County to participate. We also thank our sponsors and partners for their support and contributions. We couldn't do this without you.

Special thanks also to Paul Smith for serving as chief assistant tournament director. Also to Sam's Diner Mobile Kitchen for providing food for our players.
