For the past year, Yesenia has been donating her time and talent to give fresh haircuts and a new look to our homies during outreach. 💙✂️

In this video, Yesenia is also inviting more barbers and hairstylists to join us. If you have the gift of cutting hair and would like to use your talent to bless others, we would love to have you volunteer with us.

What may seem like a simple haircut means so much — it brings dignity, confidence, smiles, and hope. Our homies are always so grateful, and we are truly blessed to have Yesenia serving alongside GLOH with such a beautiful heart.

AJ has been volunteering with us for about 2–3 years, and we’ve had the blessing of watching him grow right before our eyes! 💙

He’s getting taller, stronger, and becoming an expert at bagging sandwiches, treats, and snacks for our homies and neighbors in need. 🥪🙌

We got started early this morning, and our volunteers showed up with joyful hearts, big smiles, and so much excitement! 🥪💛

Today, because of their love and service, over 8,000 individuals will receive a sandwich and be reminded that they are seen, loved, and not forgotten.

Last Tuesday of 2025, we served in Forest Park—and it started snowing hard 🌨️

Our homeless neighbors were grateful that we didn’t cancel.
Grateful for coats, blankets, gloves, scarves, hot coffee, and snacks—and for volunteers who showed up and stayed through the cold ❄️☕🧤

This is love in action. 💛
