From Girls to Pearls Forest Park - Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Youth Groups

Sharing and caring for those less fortunate than ourselves!🩵 These youth groups will help young women grow culturally, socially, and educationally.

The clubs also fosters the ideals of service, scholarship, sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood. Projects will vary according to their interests and the needs of the community. A project may be of service to an individual, group and/or the community and develop their special skills at the same time. In addition to providing service to others and the community, they are able to engage in social activiti

es that provide enjoyment, while creating a sisterly bond amongst each other. The Pearlette, Amicette and Archonette clubs provide activities which present opportunities to:
• Encourage the youth to accept responsibility
• Broaden the life of youth by providing them with an opportunity to make responsible decisions to develop social confidence and to relate to peers, parents and adults in general.
• Expose youth to educational, recreational and cultural activities.
• Train youth in leadership skills, personal hygiene, good grooming and human relations.
• Provide community service
• Develop the youth unique personality
• Develop new interests
• Work toward creating happiness for others
• Serve as role models in Finer Womanhood

This initiative helps provide vital support to families and babies in need, and we would love to have you participate.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Tau Xi Zeta Chapter & our Zeta Youth Affiliates are proud to present the Finer Womanhood Care Closet in collaboration with Proviso East High School as a Z-HOPE initiative aligned with the Extraordinary Power of S.H.E. 💙✨
We believe no girl should have to choose between her education and essential health needs. Through this initiative, we are providing a fully stocked care closet with pads, liners, and other menstrual essentials to help eliminate period poverty and ensure every young woman can thrive with dignity and confidence.

We’re excited to share that we are officially one week into our Taffy Apple Fundraiser, and we’d love your help spreading the word. The fundraiser runs February 1–20, 2026, and every order makes a meaningful difference.
Your support directly empowers our youth by helping fund programming, activities, and conference attendance. These opportunities strengthen leadership skills, encourage service, and create enriching experiences that help our young people grow.
You are welcome to share the attached flyer with your family, friends, and community. The flyer includes a QR code for easy ordering.
Payment Information Please submit all payments to [email protected]. Include the youth’s name and “Taffy Apple Order” in the payment notes.
Taffy apples will be ordered and available by March 9, 2026. We will coordinate delivery or pickup with each family to ensure timely distribution to customers.

As we step boldly into 2026, we’re celebrating excellence that doesn’t just shine—it glows 🌟 The Golden family is setting the tone early, and we are here for every bit of it 👏🏽

Our Amicette Alauni’ Golden wrapped up Fall 2025 at Granger Middle School with a perfect 4.0 GPA 🎓✨—earning all A’s across seven classes 📚💯. That kind of focus and discipline at this age? That’s purpose meeting preparation 🙌🏾

And because excellence loves good company, her sister Soror Amarria’ Golden (former TXZ Archonette) continued the legacy at the University of Memphis, earning her spot on the Dean’s List 🐯🎓. Completing 12+ credit hours with a 3.5 GPA or higher, she reminds us that consistency is its own kind of superpower 💪🏾✨

We are closing out the year in celebration of our phenomenal Archonette, Daija Baynes, a dedicated junior at Fenwick High School! Daija finished the first semester of her junior year with an impressive 4.28 GPA, taking on a full load of AP and honors courses—because excellence is her standard.

Earning 4 A’s and 3 B’s, Daija continues to show us what discipline, determination, and purpose can achieve. Her hard work and commitment to academic excellence truly inspire us all.

We are delighted to celebrate Archonette MyKiah McDowell, a proud sophomore at Oak Park and River Forest High School. This past weekend, she and her junior varsity cheer teammates brought home 1st place in competition—an achievement that reminds us that excellence never goes out of style.

Their win advances them to the next round with the Illinois Cheerleading Coaches Association (ICCA) this coming weekend. The ICCA, a longstanding nonprofit, is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of leadership, professionalism, and sportsmanship—a perfect match for MyKiah’s own brilliance.

We’re sending all the good vibes, prayers, and pep for a strong showing and another victory.

The Youth Affiliates of the Tau Xi Zeta Chapter hosted their highly anticipated Annual Tea on April 12, 2025, at the River Forest Community Center in River Forest, Illinois. This year's enchanting theme, "Finer Around the World," ✈️✨ transported guests on a cultural journey as five of our remarkable youth represented the countries of India, China, France, Jamaica, and Morocco. 🌍

Dressed in traditional attire from their assigned nations, each youth dazzled the audience 🌟 by sharing fascinating facts and cultural highlights that showcased what makes each country uniquely finer. From vibrant colors to flavorful traditions, the room came alive with global flair! 🕌⛩️⛲🌴

Guests enjoyed an afternoon filled with delightful conversation 🗣️, warm fellowship ❤️, and delicious refreshments 🍰☕. It was an uplifting celebration of culture, sisterhood, and youth excellence — a truly memorable event where a good time was most certainly had by all!
