LILA formed a Booster Club to provide support to all Upper School (6-12) Arts, Athletics & Activities Go Dragon's!

LILA Booster Club seeks to advise and coordinate fundraising for all of LILA's AAA groups and clubs while offering them a means of retaining 100% of the money raised until needed. LILA Booster Club also runs School-Wide fundraising activities to ensure no cost burden for the school or clubs while creating a general fund to ensure NO STUDENT is left out of LILA’s broad array of extra-curricular activities due to inability to pay. School-Wide fundraisers also allow the Booster to dollar-match for special, 1-time expenses for Club & Sports while creating the road-map for what it means to have DRAGON SPIRIT in our school.

The cast and crew of Newsies Jr. have been working incredibly hard to bring you back to 1899. They’ve poured so much energy into rehearsals, choreography, and getting everything ready behind the scenes to make this a truly unforgettable show.

Keep the ball rolling all winter! Manitou FC is offering a fun, positive, and challenging Winter Soccer Development Program designed specifically for LILA players who want to improve their skills, build confidence, and stay sharp through the colder months.

Training Focus
⚽️ Ball Mastery – dribbling, first touch & control
⚽️ Passing & Receiving – accuracy, technique & decisions
⚽️ 1v1 Attacking & Defending – confidence in individual situations
⚽️ Small-Sided Games – creativity, awareness & game understanding
⚽️ Coordination & Agility – balance, speed & movement
⚽️ Game Understanding – independent decision-making

Program Philosophy
Play–Practice–Play approach with maximum touches on the ball. Players are grouped by age, ability, and skill level.

Huge thank you to our fabulous LILA Soccer Community for coming out this weekend and putting in the work to make our field better! 💚

Families, coaches, and players hauled dirt, raked, and seeded side-by-side so our Dragons have a safer place to play with fewer holes and low spots, smoother surface.

We’re also grateful to two local partners who made it possible:

🏈 CONGRATULATIONS TO LILA SOPHOMORE LEVI CHAPMAN! 🏈

What a game! Levi helped lead PACT/LILA to an incredible 46–28 victory with an outstanding performance:

🔥 5 receptions
🔥 83 receiving yards
🔥 3 TOUCHDOWNS!

And if that wasn’t enough, Levi was named Player of the Week AND is now the all-time career receiving touchdown leader in PACT Football program history! 🏆

We are so proud of you, Levi! Your hard work, talent, and dedication are showing on and off the field. Keep making LILA proud! 💙🐉🏈

Thanks to all who made it out to the Fall Social last week! We love this event as it's rare for us to be in the same spot at the same time as our friends on the Lakes International Language Academy PTO and LILA Booster Club Lakes International Language Academy (among many other groups) to celebrate our community.

We get lots of questions on why LILA has multiple fundraising groups. Here is a high level overview of what to expect from The PTO, Booster Club, and The Foundation and how our efforts differentiate from one another. While we have different areas of focus, we connect quarterly, do our best to stay aligned, and always support each others initiatives. Each group plays a key part in keeping LILA healthy and strong! 🐲

If you're looking to get involved or help support LILA, we've highlighted a few of the ways you can support our efforts along with QR code links. Time, talents, and treasures are classic opportunities but never underestimate the power of a conversation or simply mentioning any of our groups or events to those around you. As we highlighted recently, even the Scary Scamper started as a simple conversation on the sideline of a soccer game and has been a Foundation staple for six years now!
