Heather and Skip have been through more than most kittens their age. At 3.5 months old, they're the two survivors of their litter. Their siblings Syrup and Jasper didn't make it through panleukopenia. These two did. And now they're thriving.

Today they're living full kitten lives. Playful, curious, affectionate. They'll chase a toy until they drop and then curl up for cuddles without missing a beat. They've been raised around other cats and exposed to dogs, so they tend to adapt well wherever they land. They can be adopted together or go to separate homes. Either way, they're ready.

You may remember Lula-bell. Earlier this year, she gave us quite a scare when she and her kittens needed emergency medical care. Your support got them through it, and we are so grateful.💞

Now, after raising her 3 babies, it's Lula-bell's turn. She's a quiet, gentle two-year-old who does best in a calm home where she can settle in at her own pace. She enjoys gentle pets and being near her people, and she gets along well with other cats.

Want to meet her? Join us this Saturday, June 14 from 11am to 2pm at PetSmart in Forest Lake. Meet and Greets are casual, no appointment needed. Just stop in, spend some time, and see who catches your eye. We’ll have lots of other cats and kittens there, too.

She came to us from another rescue, hoping for her people.💙

This 2-year-old brown tabby is sweet, friendly, and good with other cats. She might take a little time to warm up when she first meets you, but once she does? She'll be weaving between your legs asking for your attention like she's always known you. That kind of trust is worth earning.

Aastra is at PetSmart Forest Lake and would love to meet you — now, or if still available, this Saturday at our Meet & Greet, 11am to 2pm. She won't be the only one there on Saturday. Lots of cats and kittens will be looking for homes.

Galle and her gang in the big adoption room have a new cat tree! 🐾

The PetSmart team noticed Galle make some very ambitious (and very clumsy) attempts at the ledge. They got the hint and built her a solution.

She wasted no time claiming the top.

UPDATE 6/10: Barbara and her kittens are still at the clinic. We're waiting on a possible viral infection to run its course, but all are doing well considering. We just need her temperature to come down a bit more before they head to a foster home. Thank you to all who have donated (here and through PayPal on our website) to help cover her care and hospital stay. 🙏

You may have seen the news out of The Wildcat Sanctuary in Sandstone. On May 21, someone dumped a dozen or more of domestic cats outside the sanctuary in the middle of the night, not in crates, not contained, just abandoned. It disrupted operations for days, forced staff to lock down their resident animals, and left multiple pregnant cats unaccounted for in the woods.

Two of those cats came to us. One of them is Barbara.

Earlier this week, Barbara spiked a fever and couldn't keep anything down. On the way to South Shore Veterinary Hospital, she went into labor and was actively giving birth by the time we walked in the door. Four kittens. All doing well.

Barbara is still at the clinic. Her fever is at 105 today. Lungs sound slightly off, but no pneumonia. The good news: she's eating and nursing her babies. The team gave her fluids to help bring the fever down and is holding off on additional meds while she's nursing. They're keeping her until they figure it out.

She's fighting. We need to help her get there.

We're asking for monetary donations to cover Barbara's hospital stay and care. Every dollar goes directly toward getting this mama and her four babies through this.

Galle is a 3-month-old tuxedo kitten with a big personality and zero chill about missing out. 🖤🤍

You do laundry? She's there. You move to another room? She's already there. You sit down to relax? She's on you, purring before you even get comfortable.

She loves people, loves attention, and loves being in the middle of everything. She's also a champion-level purr machine. A few kind words and she's off to the races.

It's National Donut Day 🍩 We're celebrating with something even sweeter.

Clara & Gracie, Darby, Lark, Pennelope, Purrcious, Rex, Sparro, and Tadashi have all been adopted. 🎉 Clara and Gracie didn't leave on the same day, but they ended up in the same place: home. 💞 Every one of these cats had people cheering for them here. Now they've got someone in their corner at home. No glaze required.
