SSM Health is providing a $10,000 community health gift to Sigma of Fond du Lac to expand support for unhoused students and families facing financial hardship throughout Fond du Lac County. The funding will help Sigma grow its reach from 51 students served in 2025 to at least 75 in 2026 through hygiene supplies, food assistance, school and graduation support, birthday recognition and emergency basic-needs services.

The City of Fond du Lac has released its proposed 2027 Budget and Capital Improvement Plan for public review. The proposal reflects the City’s balanced budget and healthy reserve and directs investments toward street reconstruction, public safety facilities, and park amenities. The City Council is scheduled to vote on the finalized budget on Wednesday, November 11.
