North Fond du Lac Optimist Club

10/17/2026

Our new Optimist year is off to a great start! We were able to donate beginning of the year supplies and funds to the schools in the North Fond du Lac school District. We were also able to help with a new initiative at Horace Mann High School, where the mission is to produce “Above Average” students, in all aspects of life. On Jersey Day, during homecoming week, Mr. Switz was able to present Mr. Hughes with a check to support the football team.

Stay tuned for some big announcements, as our Pancake Day, Light Up Optimist Park, and Spillman Library Santa events are coming soon!

Our NFDL Optimist Club recently held our 6th Annual Golf Outing "fun"draiser, to say we get tons of love and support would be an understatement. We obviously couldn't make this event happen without our Event Sponsor, Gold, Silver, Bronze, Hole Sponsors, bucket Raffle prize donors and golfers who participate year after year. This year was our largest outing yet with 137 golfers! Thank you for your continued support.
Supporting our Golf outing event helps the NFDL Optimist Club better serve the youth within the Village of NFDL. The money raised at this event enables our club to have a greater impact in supporting the youth activities we support and scholarships given to Horace Mann graduates.
Special recognition to AirTech Air Tech Heating, Inc. for supporting our golf outing event since the beginning by choosing to be our Event Sponsor for all six years. Also special "Thanks" to David B and his team at Rolling Meadows Golf Course, who have been a great partner all six years.
Mark your calendars for next years event: Friday, June 18th!

Wednesday was a great night, where we awarded 12 graduating seniors from Horace Mann High School with North Fond du Lac Optimist Club scholarships! Congratulations, and we can’t wait to see what your futures hold!

05/12/2026

We have been a little quiet on Facebook lately, but that doesn't mean that we are standing still! Next up, we will be awarding a large number of scholarships to graduating seniors at Horace Mann High School during their ceremony tomorrow. Thank you for your continued support of the NFDL Optimist Club, so we can continue to give back to this great community!

A huge THANK YOU to the North Fond du Lac Optimist Club for their continued support of the INCubatorEdu Entrepreneurship program at NFDL School District. Their support ensures our students have the resources they need to be successful entrepreneurial students.

Thanks to all the families that came to our Easter egg hunt. You all turned a grey, wet day into a magical event. Happy Easter, everyone!

04/04/2026

Well, we sure are having some Wisconsin weather, but the Easter Egg Hunt is still on for tomorrow! With that said, the ground will be wet, and there is a small chance of rain, so please dress accordingly. The Easter Bunny will be there, and available for pictures in the warm, dry Community Center. See you tomorrow!

We are only a couple of days away! See you all soon!

We hope you can join in the fun this year!
