At Gila Valley Lodge No. 9, our history is built on the lives of men who helped shape not only our Lodge but the very foundation of Florence and Pinal County.

From lawmen and ministers to miners, civic leaders, and pioneers, these founding members carried the values of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth into their daily lives and their communities.

This series honors their legacy—and reminds us that the work they began continues through us today.

Honoring the men who built our Lodge and our community. Town of Florence (Government) County Historical Museum

Germania Lodge is one of the few Lodges in the United States authorized to exemplify the Scottish Rite Craft Degrees and we invite you to join us on this rare occasion to learn more about the Scottish Rite and experience a Degree presentation rarely seen in the United States.

Our own Deputy Grand Master, RW Bro. Eric Dupree, Sr. will be the exemplar candidate for the event which will also include educational presentations, a fantastic lunch, and wonderful fellowship. We hope to see you there!

Only 130 tickets will be sold for this event so get yours while you can.

Freemasonry is more than what happens within the walls of a Lodge. Our principles call us to be active participants in the communities where we live, work, and raise our families.

Community is built when people choose to serve. It is strengthened when neighbors help neighbors, when volunteers step forward, and when good men put their values into action.

As Masons, we are taught that our obligation extends beyond ourselves. Whether through charitable work, supporting local organizations, improving public spaces, mentoring youth, or simply lending a helping hand, we have an opportunity to make a lasting difference.

When we serve our communities, we demonstrate the very best of Freemasonry. We show that Brotherhood is not just something we talk about—it is something we live.

Together, we can build stronger neighborhoods, stronger relationships, and a stronger future for all.

Community is our calling.

Brotherhood • Tradition • Community

Tradition is not about living in the past, it is about carrying forward the lessons, values, and principles that have stood the test of time.

For centuries, Freemasons have preserved ancient traditions not simply because they are old, but because they continue to teach us who we are, what we stand for, and how we should conduct ourselves as men and as Brothers.

Every ritual, symbol, and lesson connects us to generations of Masons who came before us. By honoring those traditions, we honor their work, their sacrifices, and the legacy they entrusted to our care.

As we build for the future, we must never forget the foundations upon which our Fraternity was built.

Honor the Past. Live the Present. Build the Future.
